Call me “Max”! Everyone does!
From NCAA recruit to science and biology nerd to cross-continental traveler, I have taken a winding road to find my home in illustration and I am excited to say that it is a place I am now calling home.
I am a stylistically diverse illustrator who adjusts my visual approach with each project in service of the needs of the client’s creative brief and vision for the job. Nothing excites me more than diving head-first into a rich visual narrative or putting my mind towards a juicy design challenge. I love working on projects that aim to inspire and uplift people, communities, and organizations. I am constantly drawn to projects that spotlight good people doing good things in this world. I also love to collaborate!
Peers and friends would describe me as kind, funny, helpful, and a person who will go the extra mile. Outside of my life in the arts you can find me taking long nature walks, cooking, learning something new or having a laugh with a friend or two.
